Hombre is an indoor and outdoor umbrella stand that plays with material continuity to create an object that is apparently simple, yet with a strong aesthetic character. The main element does not meet the base at its central point, but unexpectedly curves to support a horizontal containment ring for the umbrellas. A bar at the top serves as a handle for moving the object and as a rest for smaller umbrellas.
